1 Does KingMailer
load Access
2000 database ?
Yes. If you get any database warning, you can use our alternative
KingMailer2000. You can download it form this link Download. KingMailer internally uses MSAccess
for storing status information. If you get database warning
at the beginning, use the appropriate KingMailer.
If you use KingMailer2000, your MSAccess and MSExcel mailing
list also should be of same version.

2 Some information
is filled automatically when I run KingMailer first time.
How?
If you have setup Outlook Express on your computer, KingMailer
gets this information from Outlook Express and fills these
fields automatically. If you make these fields empty, they
are again filled in this way.
If you need to leave any one of this field empty purposefully,
kindly enter a space using space bar.
DNS1 and DNS2 required for direct mailing is detected automatically.
If KingMailer fails to detect this, you have to manually provide
this. Visit our help site for more information on this.
3 What
is the maximum size of the attachment I can send?
KingMailer does not have any limitations. Recipient's SMTP
server might have some limitations on this.
4 'Can I
personalize HTML message using []?
You can use these personalizing variables in between your
HTML tags.

You get the output as "Hello Paul marrison").

How many e-mails I can have on a list?
There is no such limitation. If your mailing list is
huge, it is advisable to use anyone of the database. If you
have such a huge mailing list in text file, mailing process
will be slow.
6 How to
load a text message edited on another editor?
Just click the file browse button below the text message
box. Browse the external file in to the text message box.
7 Will
this work under proxy or Firewall?
Except some proxies, KingMailer works everywhere. If you are
inside a Firewall, you need to open the port 25 for the SMTP
Server and Port 80 is required for registering KingMailer
on your PC. Test the detected DNS also. If it is not valid,
provide a valid DNS in the User DNS box.
8 How to
send a web page as e-mail?
If you have Internet Explorer, load the web page in to it.
Click file -> Save As. This saves the web page in to your
computer. HTML file of the web page is stored separately.
Required images are stored on a directory separately. Click
the HTML button on your KingMailer and load this HTML file
into it. Click the preview button to preview the web page.
Click the tool button to view the images to be embedded. If
you need, you can also embed any files manually using this
dialog.
9. Can I
embed a sound file along with the mail?
Click the HTML Tool button. Click the button "Browse and Add"
and manually add the sound file in to the embedded files list.
If you add a file "C:\KingMailer\Welcome.wav" , You can include
the source path as " src='welcome.wav' ".
10. What all the
type of mailing lists, KingMailer can load ?
Currently…

MSAccess database. ( MDB )( up to Access 2002 )

11 My
computer is abruptly closed due to power failure. How the
mailing will be continued, when I try KingMailer again?
Result of each mailing is stored against the email address
in a log internally. ( Like 'Send', Failed', Canceled etc...).
When you try to send the mails next time, KingMailer verifies
this information and skips these mails.
When you decide to send a new message to all, you can clear
this log information through 'Settings' dialog.
12. Which
SMTP Server I can use?
Since KingMailer has its own SMTP Server internally, you don't
need to use another SMTP Server at all. But, for any reason,
if you decide to use another SMTP server, you have to use
the local SMTP Server provided by your ISP. ( Technically
you can use any SMTP Server. )
13.
Can I send HTML and Text together?
Yes. You can send both message formats alternatively in a
single mail. Click the Settings button or select it from the
menu. Check the 'Facility to send HTML and Text together'
box. Return to KingMailer. If you click the Message button,
you will notice another option for sending both message formats.
14. I
get ' 500 Unauthorized relay message rejected ' or similar
message. Why?
You might get this error if you are using an external SMTP
Server. Even if you are using your local ISP's SMTP Server,
you should check your POP3 account using any one of your default
e-mail client application like Outlook Express etc… Once your
IP is recognized by your ISP, it allows further mailing from
this IP. This is the normal authorization procedure.
Some SMTP servers do not need authorization at all.
15.
I am not able to send mails second time. It says '<--Mail
Send successfully-->'. How can I send a new message ?
When you decide to send a new message to all, you can clear
the internal log information. Click the 'Log'
button at the bottom left. 'Clear result and report column' menu.
This will clear the internal log and KingMailer is ready
for fresh mailing.
